Madeline Knava Scholarship
The Madeline Speer Knava Scholarship was established in order to award worthy students who are furthering their academic career beyond high school. The scholarship was created to honor Madeline’s passion about her faith and helping others. The annual scholarship fund will award up to $4,000.00 in scholarships per award year. Distribution of the scholarship is to be determined by the committee.
Qualifications:
● Graduating High School Senior OR Matriculating Student Enrolled in Higher Education
● Active Member at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
● Academic Performance (copy of transcript must be attached)
● Community Service Activities (listed below or attach resume)
● Essay (type written and attached) *Submission Deadline – TBD

Madeline Speer Knava’s commitment to our community was recognizable in many ways. She served as a church organist and was a supporter of numerous charitable organizations. The generous endowment that she left to several area churches, including Holy Trinity will help to ensure the continued effectiveness of these institutions. Madeline was an exemplary steward of our Orthodox church in donating her time, talent, and resources to the church and its community, the very definition of stewardship.
